The
Policy.

The short version of how Indvstry Exchange runs — applications, media, refunds, judging, conduct, and confidentiality. Full legal detail lives in our Terms & Conditions.

01

One Person Per Application

The Accelerator strictly accepts one (1) creator per application.

Bands, duos, and groups must email exchange@indvstryclvb.com in advance for individual review and written clearance before submitting. Group applications submitted without prior clearance are void.

01b

Original, Unreleased Music Only

All music submitted through Spin Music must be 100% original and unreleased.

No uncleared samples, interpolations, or third-party stems, and no track that has previously been distributed or released on any platform. Breaches are disqualified without review.

Master royalties on any official Indvstry Exchange compilation are administered by Symphonic Distribution and split 80/20 in the artist's favour. Publishing administration and sync licensing are handled by Vuga Music Publishing.

02

Photography & Videography

Video, photography, and audio recordings will be captured throughout all Indvstry Exchange events — panels, mixers, after-parties, cultural experiences, the Nairobi Writing Camp, and the December Concert.

By purchasing a ticket, RSVP'ing, or entering any venue, you grant Indvstry Exchange the irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free right to use your image, likeness, voice, and performance for promotional and editorial purposes across all media.

03

No Refunds

All ticket sales, package purchases, RSVPs converted to paid access, application/program fees, and any deposits are FINAL and NON-REFUNDABLE.

This includes no-shows, travel disruptions, visa denials, illness, schedule changes, lineup changes, weather, and personal cancellation.

04

Judges Have Final Say

All selection decisions across every phase — Top 100, Top 30, Top 3 finalists, panelists, and performance slots — are made at the sole and final discretion of the Indvstry Exchange judges and executive panel.

Decisions are not open to appeal or negotiation.

05

Code of Conduct & Right to Remove

Indvstry Exchange reserves the right to terminate any participant from the Accelerator, Writing Camp, Panels, or Concert — with no refund — for conduct deemed disrespectful or unprofessional toward mentors, judges, staff, other participants, venues, or partners.

06

Confidentiality

All communication, feedback, mentor notes, unreleased music, deal terms, and any private information shared by Indvstry Exchange, its mentors, judges, or partners is strictly confidential.

Participants may not share, screenshot, publish, or leak any private correspondence. Breach of confidentiality is grounds for immediate removal from the program.
